Lock motor, driver's door
Lock motor, driver's door |
Note | ||
The following description applies to left-hand drive cars. |
The lock motor in the driver's door has an integrated electric motor with three microswitches.
On the electric motor there is a cam, which regulates the position of the microswitch. The microswitch is connected to the TWICE control module from pins 9 and 10 to pins 42 and 22.
1. |
When the car is not locked, the microswitch is in position pin 10. When the electric motor is supplied with current from pin 22 on the TWICE control module and the central locking system is locked, the microswitch position is changed by the movement of the electric motor to pin 9.
|
2. |
To unlock the car, the electric motor receives current from pin 26 on the TWICE control module and the motion of the electric motor changes the position of the microswitch from pin 9 to pin 10.
|
4. |
To inactivate TSL, the electric motor is first supplied with a voltage pulse from pin 26 on the TWICE control module and changes the position of the microswitch from pin 10 to pin 9. The electric motor is then supplied with another voltage pulse from pin 26 and changes the position of the microswitch from pin 9 to pin 10.
|
There is a microswitch in the lock unit that is connected to the lock cylinder and lock button in the door via a pull rod.
The microswitch of the lock cylinder is connected to pins 56 and 33 of the TWICE control module. The microswitch is grounded through lock motor pin 1 in the lock unit.
1. |
When the key is turned to lock the door, the pull rod operates the microswitch which grounds pin 7 on the lock unit, whereby pin 56 on the TWICE control module is grounded.
|
2. |
When the key is turned to unlock the door, the pull rod operates the microswitch which grounds pin 3 on the lock unit, whereby pin 33 on the TWICE control module is grounded.
|
The lock button microswitch is connected to pin 55 on the TWICE control module and grounded through pin 1 on the lock unit.
When in unlocked position, the microswitch grounds pin 55 of the TWICE control module.
This input is not used by the TWICE control module at present.
