Remove the gearbox, see

Remove the pressure plate and clutch plate, see
Changing clutch assembly

3. |
Remove the flywheel.
|
4. |
Screw in a self-tapping screw and pull out the seal.
|
To fit |
1. |
Clean any gasket remains from the sealing surfaces.
|
2. |
Lubricate the new seal with non-acidic Vaseline and position it on
83 95 402 Assembly tool, rear crankshaft seal
(KM-934-1).

3. |
Position the seal on the crankshaft with
83 95 402 Assembly tool, rear crankshaft seal
. Press in the seal with the tool until it is flush with the cylinder block.

4. |
Fit the flywheel with new bolts. Use
83 94 868 Flywheel locking attachment
for support.
Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 lbf ft) + 30°. |
