Glow plug control module
Glow plug control module |
The glow plug control module is used to activate the glow plugs after a command from the engine management system. It is supplied with +30 from fuse 2 (60A).
There is a diagnostic function in the glow plug control module, which monitors the glow plugs, that informs the engine control module through a cable from glow plug control module pin 9A-B to engine control module connections 49 ad 68 if a fault should occur.
When the engine control module grounds pin 8, the glow plug control module will be activated, which means that pins 1, 2 and 6 on the control module are supplied with current.
