Vent device

To remove


1. Raise the car.


2. Cut the cable tie.

3. Unplug and detach the connector to the vent device.

4. Detach the vent device from the filler pipe with a screwdriver.

5. Remove the vent device quick-release coupling from the tank as follows.

5.a. Press in the connector towards the tank in the direction of the connection.

5.b. Pinch the ring so that the catches go up.

5.c. Detach the connection by pulling it away from the tank.



To fit



1. Fit the vent device.

Note

Make sure the quick-release coupling is not damaged and that the indicator has been removed (round plastic ring in the quick-release coupling).


2. Fit the vent device to the filler pipe.


3. Spray with Kontakt 61 and plug in the connector to the vent device.

4. Secure the cables with a cable tie.

5. Lower the car to the floor.
