Remove the upper engine cover.

| 2. |
Unplug the crankshaft position sensor.
|
|
| 3. |
Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Clean the sealing surfaces and fit a new O-ring to the crankshaft position sensor.
|
|
| 2. |
Grease the O-ring with acid-free vaseline and fit the crankshaft position sensor.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 lbf ft). Route the sensor cable to the connector bracket. |

| 3. |
Refit the lower engine cover and lower the car.
|
|
| 4. |
Plug in the crankshaft position sensor.
|
|
| 5. |
Check that the sensor cable is not close to any hot or sharp objects. If necessary, secure the cable in position.
|

| 6. |
Fit the upper engine cover.
|
