Symptom: CHECK ENGINE lamp on. Loss of performance.

P2228 Atmosphere Pressure Sensor Circuit. Open Circuit / Short to Ground.
P2229 Atmosphere Pressure Sensor Circuit. Short to B+.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:| • |
P2228:
Signal on control module sensor input less than 0.2 V for more than 0.6 seconds.
Fault criteria not fulfilled for P0652 or P0653. |

P2229:
Signal on control module sensor input more than 4.8 V for more than 0.6 seconds.
Fault criteria not fulfilled for P0652 or P0653. |

Diagnostic help
Deactivates EGR control. The control module uses 70 kPa as a substitute value. The read value on the diagnostic tool equals the substitute value. The power supply is the same as for pedal position sensor 2.Diagnosis for P0116 and P0196 is disengaged.
