Diagnostic procedure

If the turbo must be replaced after breakdown or if oil smoke occurs, it is very important that no metal particles, soot or other contaminants remain in the turbocharger system, crankcase ventilation or induction system.

Check and clean the induction system and crankcase ventilation if necessary. Replace the filter element and clean the air filter housing.

Check the mass air flow sensor and remove any contaminants.
