Press the TAILGATE button to disarm/unlock the boot lid/tailgate only. The other alarms are not affected. The acoustic acknowledgement for this function is programmable.

If the alarm was armed, the boot lid/tailgate will be removed from the alarm. The LED will flash rapidly if the other alarm is armed and has been disarmed after the delay.

After closing the lid, a new delay period (10 sec.) will start for the boot lid/tailgate. After this period, it will again be armed if the other alarm has been armed.

If the ignition is on, the boot lid/tailgate cannot be opened with the remote control. |

|
The boot lid/tailgate cannot be disarmed with the key. If the lid is opened with the key while the alarm is armed, the alarm will be set off. |

The above description of disarming the boot lid/tailgate with the key does not apply for markets US/CA/LA, which are programmed for key function. |
