Lift the gear lever gaiter.

Put the gear lever in neutral.
|

| 3. |
Carefully
press in the three catches in the ball socket using a screwdriver and lift the gear lever far enough to expose the reverse gear detent catch.

| 4. |
Unhook the reverse gear detent from the ball socket.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the reverse gear detent to the ball socket.
|
|
| 2. |
Press down the ball socket into the lever housing. Make sure that the O-ring is correctly positioned.
|

| 3. |
Refit the gaiter.
