Remove the lower engine cover and the drive belt cover.

Relieve tension on the belt tensioner by using a jointed wrench to turn it clockwise. Lock the tensioner with
87 92 335
.

Remove the belt. If the old belt is to be refitted, mark the direction of rotation.

Fit the belt. If the old belt is to be refitted, do so following the marked direction of rotation.

2.
|
Relieve tension on the belt tensioner and remove the lock pin.
|
3.
|
Check the position of the belt on all the pulleys.
|
4.
|
Fit the drive belt cover and the lower engine cover.
|
5.
|
Lower the car to the floor.
|
