Timer, parking heater

Timer, parking heater

General

There are two different modes ( electric heater and fuel heater) to choose between when programming. The heater can be controlled in three different ways.

- Time

- Manual start and stop

- Outside temperature

A start by timer control only occurs when the ignition is off. Three different starting times may be programmed. If the car is started after the heater has been switched on, the heater will continue to run for the programmed interval. If the timer control mode is activated and the heater is due to start when the engine is running a new time must be programmed.

A manual start is possible when the ignition is on or off. The information display on the main instrument unit will then show how long the heater will be on, max. 60 minutes.

With the ignition off, the i-SET buttons, Arrow up/down and CLR are used to manually start and stop the heater or to start the heater with the timer function. With the ignition on, the heater is started and stopped manually using the i-SET and CLR buttons.
