Conditions

Transmission in 3rd gear

The TCM not in the Limp-home mode
|
|
| • |
The selector lever is in position 3, 4 or D
|
|
| • |
Fluid temperature over 20°C
|
|
| • |
Engine speed over 400 rpm.
|
|
| • |
Brake pedal not depressed.
|
|
Fault criteria
The gear ratio diverges by more than 20% from the expected value when the vehicle is driven in 3rd gear.
