To remove |

Remove the door trim. Refer to
Door trim

Remove the water separator.
|
3. |
Lower the window so that the window mounting is visible. The clip securing the ball in the window lift to the window guide rail is now accessible.

4. |
Secure the window to the window frame with 2 strips of tape.

Unplug the connector
|
7. |
Knock out the steel cores in the blind rivets.
|
8. |
Drill out the heads of the blind rivets (5 pcs). Hold the window lift assembly and then knock out the rivets from the door panel. (8.5 mm drill - 4 mm mandrel).

Lower the window lift into the door so that the upper part can be removed through the large rear hole.
|
10. |
Lift out the window lift assembly.

To fit |

Remove the blind rivets in the old window lift if it is to be refitted.
|
2. |
Lift the window lift assembly into the door. Lower it into the door and then raise the upper part so that it enters the door.
|
3. |
Blind-rivet it on. Powerful blind-riveting pliers will make the work easier.
|
4. |
Inspect the roller for damage and fit the clip.
|
5. |
Grease the roller and sliding surfaces. Remove the tape from the window and adjust the height so that the brace can be pressed onto the window mounting roller. Press the brace onto the window mounting roller.

6. |
Plug in the connector.
|
7. |
Raise and lower the window to check its function.
|
8. |
Fit the moisture barrier.
