Raise the car.
|

| 2. |
Remove the lower engine cover.
|
|
| 3. |
Place a receptacle under the oil pressure switch.
|
|
| 4. |
Lower the car to the floor.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the upper engine cover and insulation.
|
|
| 6. |
Unplug the oil pressure switch connector.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove
Engine oil pressure switch (44)

|
| 8. |
Fit
87 92 301 Adapter, oil pressure kit
and
87 91 600 Pressure measuring equipment
.

|
| 9. |
Attach the coolant hose to the oil cooler and fill coolant.
|
|
| 10. |
Connect an exhaust hose and start the engine.
|

| 11. |
Measure oil pressure:
|
|
| • |
Idling speed >1 bar
|
| • |
Engine at operating temperature >4 bar at 4000 rpm.
|
| 12. |
Switch off the engine.
|
|
| 13. |
Remove
87 92 301 Adapter, oil pressure kit
and
87 91 600 Pressure measuring equipment
.

| 14. |
Place a receptacle under the radiator and drain the cooling system.
|
|
| 15. |
Detach the coolant hose from the oil cooler and move it aside.
|
|
| 16. |
Fit
Engine oil pressure switch (44)

|
| 17. |
Plug in the connector.
|
|
| 18. |
Fit the lower engine cover.
|
|
| 19. |
Lower the car to the floor.
|
|
| 20. |
Check the engine oil level. Fill to the prescribed quantity as necessary. See
