Glow plug

Glow plug

To remove


1. Remove the cover over the combustion air fan.


Note

Pay attention to the fuel pipe's rubber lead-through.


2. Remove the four control module bolts.

3. Carefully extract the control module, unplug the connector and remove the control module from the heater.


4. Remove the centre housing with combustion air inlet.


5. Undo the nut and remove the cable terminals from the glow plug.


6. Bend the leads aside.

7. Remove the glow plug.


To fit



1. Fit the glow plug.

2. Connect the cable terminals to the glow plug and tighten the nut.

Note

Check that the insulation on the glow plug cables is undamaged and that the cable terminals cannot be shorted to ground.


3. Fit the centre housing.


4. Plug connector B2 into the control module.


5. Fit the control module.


6. Fit the cover.
