EGR cooler

Important

Always use wing covers when working in the engine bay.


To remove


1. Remove Thermostat, Z19 .

2. Detach the hoses of the front coolant pipe.


3. Detach the rear coolant hose from the EGR coolant.

4. Detach the front coolant hose from the EGR cooler.

5. Detach the rear exhaust pipe from the EGR valve.

6. Detach the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.


7. Remove cooler.


To fit


1. Fit the cooler.


2. Attach the front exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold. Use a new gasket.

Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18 lbf ft)

3. Attach the rear exhaust pipe to the EGR valve. Use a new gasket.

4. Attach the front coolant hose from the EGR cooler.


5. Attach the rear coolant hose from the EGR coolant.

6. Attach the hoses of the front coolant pipe.

7. Fit Thermostat, Z19 .
