Dipped beam bulb, halogen, replacement

In some versions the dipped beam bulb is fitted in the same way as the main beam lamp, without locking spring, see

Fit bulbs with correct rating only, the wiring can otherwise be damaged.
|

1.
|
Remove the cover.
|
Note

|
Push the engine air intake hose backwards to improve access on the right-hand side. To improve access on the left-hand side, the battery cover should be removed.
|
|
|
2.
|
Unplug the electrical connector.
|
|
3.
|
Release the bulb locking spring by first pushing the spring forwards and then to the right.
|
|
5.
|
Fit the new bulb without touching the bulb lens with the fingers.
|
|
6.
|
Fit the bulb into its mounting in the reflector and secure it with the locking spring.
|
|
7.
|
Plug in the electrical connector
