Cover the wings.

| 2. |
Empty the brake fluid reservoir, using the brake system bleeder unit (part No. 88 19 096).
|
|
| 3. |
Refit the cap to the reservoir.
|
|
| 4. |
Unplug the level sensor connector.
|
|
| 5. |
Manual gearbox:
Remove the hose for the clutch.
|
|
| 6. |
Place some paper or a cloth under the master cylinder.
|
|
| 7. |
Withdraw the reservoir straight upwards.
|

| To fit |
| 1. |
Manual gearbox, if changing the brake fluid reservoir:
Cut off the top of the reservoir's hose connection.

| 2. |
Grease the spigots with
90 166 282 Brake cylinder paste
and press home the reservoir on the master cylinder.
|
|
| 3. |
Manual gearbox:
Fit the hose for the clutch.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the paper.
|
|
| 5. |
Plug in the level sensor's connector and return the main fuse box to its original position.
|
|
| 6. |
Fill up with brake fluid.
|
|
| 7. |
Check the system for leakage.
