| To remove | 
| 1. | Remove the steering column assembly
        
        and put it on a bench.

| 2. | Mark the steering shaft with a felt-tip pen on both sides of the steering shaft tube.   | |
| 3. | Pull apart the steering column assembly. | |
| 4. | Remove the lock screw. | |
| 5. | Carefully press in the catch and remove the bracket. | |
| 6. | Remove the circlip and the spring washer.   | |
| 7. | Dismantle the bearing carrier with bearing. | |
| 8. | Remove the steering wheel angle sensor. | |
| To fit | 
 
    
    | 1. | Fit the steering wheel angle sensor to the shaft. Make sure the groove in the sensor and the heel on the shaft are aligned. | |
| 2. | Affix and complete the label. | |
| 3. | Fit the bearing carrier with bearing.   | |
| 4. | Fit the spring washer and circlip. | |
| 5. | Fit the bracket. 
   | |||||||
| 6. | Fit the lock screw.   | |
| 7. | Align the marks on both parts of the shaft and carefully press together the steering column assembly. It should be easy to press together the steering column assembly. | |
| 8. | Fit the steering column assembly into the car

| 9. | Calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor
