Symptom: Perceived temperature in cabin too high or too low compared to the set temperature.

Fault symptoms

Perceived temperature in cabin too high or too low compared to the set temperature.

Conditions

The following conditions apply:

•	Ignition ON

•	Short circuit to B+ is indicated when the output for the heat exchanger solenoid is not activated and the voltage on pin 14 is B+.

•	Short circuit to ground is indicated when the output for the heat exchanger solenoid is activated and the voltage on pin 14 is lower than 1V.

•	Measured every 50 ms.

•	The diagnostic trouble code is deleted after the ignition has been switched on 20 times if the malfunction conditions have not been fulfilled.

•	When the diagnostic trouble code is generated the output is switched off.
