In order to activate the ACC unit the parking heater sends B+ on K1 pin 3 when the coolant temperature at the parking heater's outlet reaches 30°C.Diesel heater
In order to activate the ACC unit the parking heater adds B+ via SID on K1 pin 3 when the parking heater is activated. The ACC unit and the display in the main instrument unit are activated. The ACC unit starts the circulation pump, and the cabin fan is delayed 0-10 minutes depending on outside temperature.Ignition OFF and ACC unit active will result in the following options:

the air-blending flaps are regulated automatically according to set temperature or max. heat 100%.

• |
the air distribution damper is regulated automatically in defrost position for 10 min and then in defrost/floor position
|
• |
air recirculation flap in recirculation position when the temperature is below -10°C, otherwise fresh air
|
• |
fan current approx. 6 A, air volume 45 l/second in automatic control, manual control max. two lines.

• |
the display in the main instrument unit shows that the heater is active
|
• |
manual options can be selected using the following buttons and knobs. Air recirculation, manual control of fan speed (max. two lines) and temperature knob.

The control module returns to normal operating mode as soon as B+ disappears from K1 pin 3 or at ignition ON.
Adjustment |
The ACC unit can be adjusted using the diagnostic tool as follows:

the air-blending flap continuously remains in full heat position.

• |
select another fan current.
