Remove the roof.

Drill out the spot-welds at the corners.

| 3. |
Knock away the roof member and straighten any deformed metalwork.

| Fitting |

Grind all the surfaces that are to be welded.
|

| 2. |
Apply welding primer to the surfaces that are to be welded.
|
|
| 3. |
Position the roof member and fix it with a few welding clamps.
|
|
| 4. |
Weld on the roof member.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.

| 6. |
Fit the roof.
