Tailgate trim, 5D

To remove


1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the window cover plates, x 3, (secured with clips).


3. Remove the clips in the lower edge and on the sides.

4. Remove the screws from the grab handle, the handle remains located in the trim.

Note

There is a locating pin by the handle, when removing the trim take care not to knock the guide lug.


5. Pull the upper edge of the trim so that the clips detach.


6. Extract the locating pin from its hole by moving the trim down slightly.


To fit


1. Insert the locating pin in its hole and lift up the trim

2. Press the upper part of the trim into place.

3. Screw in the screws around the closing handle.


4. Fit the clips.

5. Fit the window cover plates. Fit the side covers first.

6. Close the tailgate.
