Emblem, 4D boot lid

Emblems are delivered as a spare part in a package consisting of a frame with a transparent window and protective tape on the backside. The following description shows how the emblem is to be affixed. Use the frame as a template when measuring the boot lid.

To remove

Protect the paintwork with tape around the emblem. Use a putty knife to carefully prise under the emblem.

To fit

First wash the area where the emblem is to be mounted with pure benzine.

Note

The emblems and the car body must be at room temperature (approx. 20°C, 68°F) before the emblem can be affixed.



1. Remove the protective tape backing from the emblem and leave the emblem in the frame.

2. Fit the frame on the boot lid following the measurements of the illustration and affix the emblem.

3. Remove the frame.
