Remove the trim moulding and door trim. See group 8, Interior equipment, Adjustment and replacement, “Door trim”

Remove the water separator.

Remove the outer weatherstrip.
|

Lower the window so that the window mounting is visible through the hole in the door. The clip securing the ball in the window lift to the window guide rail is now accessible.

Secure the window to the window frame with 2 strips of tape.

Remove the tape. Lower the window lift to its bottom position while holding the window, allowing it to follow after.
|
8. |
Remove the weatherstrip.
|
9. |
Remove the screws securing the fixed window rail.
|
10. |
Remove the nuts securing the fixed window.
|
11. |
Press out the fixed window from the screw holes and pull it upwards. Be careful not to damage the paintwork.

Lift out the door window.

To fit |

Inspect the roller for damage and fit the clip.
|
2. |
Grease the roller and sliding surfaces.
|
3. |
Lift in the window and let it rest against the bottom of the door.
|
4. |
Lift the fixed glass into place, making sure that the door glass goes into the guide channel of the fixed glass.
|
5. |
Screw on the fixed window and guide rail.
|
6. |
Fit the weatherstrip.
|
7. |
Lift up the door window and raise the window lift so that the ball can be pressed onto the roller.
|
8. |
Press on the roller and check its function.
|
9. |
Refit the water separator, door trim and cover around the window frame.
|
