Hydraulic tappets

To remove


1. Remove the camshaft housing .

Note

Remove the rocker arms one at a time so as not to confuse them.


2. Remove the rocker arms from the hydraulic valve tappets.


3. Replace one tappet at a time so as not to confuse the rocker arms.



To fit


1. Check the rocker arms.

2. Lubricate the tappet contact surfaces with engine oil. Fit the tappets.


3. Lubricate the rocker arms with engine oil. Fit the rocker arms to the hydraulic valve tappets and the valves. Note the position of the rocker arms.


4. Fit the camshaft housing .
