EGR solenoid valve (606), Z19

Remove the engine cover and insulation.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the two bolts holding the EGR pipe.
|
Important
|
|
Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to

.

|
Unplug the connector of the solenoid valve unit.
|
|
4.
|
Remove the engine cover mounting.
|
|
5.
|
Remove the four bolts of the solenoid valve unit. Lift away the unit.
|
|

|
Clean the sealing surfaces and use a new gasket.
|
|
2.
|
Fit the solenoid valve unit.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18 lbf ft)
|
|
3.
|
Fit the engine cover mounting.
|
Important
|
|
Take care when plugging in the connector so as not to damage or press out the pins/sleeves in the connector. For further information regarding connectors, refer to

4.
|
Plug in the connector of the solenoid valve unit.
|
|
5.
|
Clean the sealing surfaces of the EGR pipe. Use a new gasket. Fit the EGR pipe.
|
|
6.
|
Fit the engine cover and insulation.
|
