Type of diagnosis:

Radiator fan circuit NOT activated.
|
Fault criteria:

Output shorted to ground for more than 0.6 s.
|
System reaction to a fault:

|
Radiator fan speed set to LOW.
|
OK report:
-
|
Fault criteria NOT fulfilled for 0.6 s.

Check the wiring
A fault in the control module's female connector can generate a DTC. Check the contact for oxidation, dislodge pins and pin clamping force.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, dislodged pins and pin clamping force.
