To remove |

Raise the car.

Place an oil pan under the transmission to collect fluid spill.
|
3. |
Remove the banjo screw for the delivery line and plug the hole. Use e.g. plug, part no. 91 32 929, and seal, part no. 91 32 937.

Lower the car to the floor.
|
5. |
Remove the upper banjo bolt from the radiator.
|
6. |
Remove the pipes' bracket from the fan cowling.
|
7. |
Remove the screws securing the fan cowling to the radiator.
|
8. |
Raise the fan cowling slightly and remove the delivery pipe.

Change the seals in the banjo bolts. |

Raise the fan cowling slightly. Position the pipe correctly.

2. |
Fit the banjo bolt but do not tighten it.
|
3. |
Fit the bracket on the fan cowling and tighten it.
Tighten the banjo bolt. Tightening torque 24 Nm (18 lbf ft) |

Raise the car.

5. |
Fit the oil cooler hoses. The hoses should be horizontal so that they do not chafe against the subframe. Use new seals greased with petroleum jelly.
Tightening torque 27 Nm (20 lbf ft) |
6. |
Lower the car to the floor.

Fill with transmission fluid to the correct level. See
