Intermediate shaft bearing, 4-cyl diesel

To remove


1. Place the intermediate shaft in a vice.

2. Remove the small circlip.


3. Press the shaft out of the bearing using 87 91 287 Puller, 150 mm and 87 92 210 Support, differential bearing .

4. Remove the large circlip.


5. Press out the bearing using 87 90 487 Sleeve, differential bearing and 87 92 236 Support, for fitting F35 speed gear as counterhold.


Fitting


1. Tap in the new bearing with a hammer and 83 90 189 Drift and 87 90 461 Sleeve, bearing ring . Use a vice or similar as support.

2. Fit the large circlip.


3. Press on the intermediate shaft with 87 90 487 Sleeve, differential bearing

4. Fit the small circlip.
