Exhaust Gas Temperature Front Sensor Circuit, Open/Short to B+

Fault symptoms


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.


On-Board Diagnostics



Enable criteria:


- Turn Ignition On.


Fault criteria:


- The voltage on the input is greater than 2.23 V.

- The condition above must be fulfilled for at least 0.48 s.


System reaction to a fault:


- The control module uses 200°C as a substitute value.
