Atmosphere Pressure Sensor Circuit. Plausibility Fault with Manifold Absolute Pressure

Fault symptoms


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.


On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis:


- Continuous.


Enable criteria:


- Turn Ignition On.


Fault criteria:


- The difference between boost pressure and atmospheric pressure is greater than 15 kPa (0.15 bar).


System reaction to a fault:


- The control module uses a substitute value of 751 hPa (0.751 bar).

- Limp Home, torque limitation.
