Antenna cable, radio (4D)

Do not remove the existing antenna cable without fitting a new one.

Remove the sill covers and cable conduit cover on the right-hand side (front and rear doors). Lower the seat cushion and backrest.

Remove the speaker grille from the right-hand side of the parcel shelf.
|
3.
|
Remove the trim on the right-hand C pillar to gain access to the antenna amplifier.
|
4.
|
Undo the nut securing the luggage compartment trim. Fold the right-hand section to one side.
|
5.
|
Detach the antenna cable from the antenna amplifier.
|
6.
|
Cut the antenna cable (the loose part).
|
7.
|
Connect the new antenna cable to the antenna amplifier.
|
8.
|
Place the antenna cable in the cable conduit on the right-hand door side. (Attach with a cable tie to prevent rattling.)
|
9.
|
Fold up the carpet on the right-hand side and pass the cable under the carpet.
|
10.
|
Remove the main unit (radio) and radio compartment.
|
11.
|
Push the cable up towards the rear of the compartment.
|
12.
|
Detach the old antenna cable and cut off the loose part.
|
13.
|
Connect the new antenna cable.
|
14.
|
Secure with cable ties to prevent rattling.
|
15.
|
Refit the removed components.
|
