The digital receiver unit is placed under the parcel shelf in 4D cars or under the forward luggage compartment floor in 5D cars. The antenna is located on the roof and is a combined antenna for radio, telephone and GPS. The satellite radio receiver receives signals from satellites and slave transmitters. The receiver has a frequency range of 2332 to 2345 MHz.
A special subscription is required in order to listen to satellite radio via the receiver.
