Battery |
The battery has a terminal voltage of 12V and a capacity of 70 Ah.
The battery is located on the left-hand side of the engine bay with its negative terminal connected to the body.
The battery cannot be topped up with electrolyte. The electrolyte level is indicated in the window on the window, which turns white when the level is low. When the electrolyte level is sufficiently high, the battery window will be black.

The generator is of the alternator type with an integrated charge regulator.
It is driven by the engine via a multigroove V-belt from the crankshaft pulley.
Charge warning lamp |
The charge warning lamp tells the driver whether the generator is charging or not.
It is located in and powered by the main instrument unit. If the generator is not rotating or if it is not charging, the lamp circuit is grounded via the regulator field winding and the lamp goes on.
