Removal |

Remove the
door trim
.

2. |
Unplug the connector between the door and the rear harness (A).
|
3. |
Detach the connector (B) from the door.
|
4. |
Detach the connector (A) from the door lock.
|
5. |
Detach the connectors (B) from the rearview mirror.
|
6. |
Remove the side impact sensor and unplug the connector (C) for the side impact sensor.
|
7. |
Carefully drill out the right-hand lower blind rivet (A) for the electric window lift motor.
|
8. |
Detach the electric window lift connector (B) and carefully prize between the door panel and electric window lift to release the cable.
|
9. |
Carefully remove the wiring harness without damaging cable ties, etc., that are to be refitted.

Refitting |
Important | ||
Secure the wiring harness to prevent the risk of chafing and rattling. |
||
Check all rubber seals to minimize the risk of leakage. |

Note | ||
Spray all the connectors with “Kontakt 61” to prevent verdigris formation. Clean all the grounding points and coat them with Vaseline. |

Position the wiring harness in accordance with the earlier routing and secure (A).

2. |
Plug in the connector (A) for the door lock.
|
3. |
Plug in the connectors (B) for the rearview mirror.
|
4. |
Plug in the connector (C) for the side impact sensor and fit the side impact sensor.
|
5. |
Attach the electric window lift connector (B) to the electric window lift and carefully prize between the door panel and electric window lift to install the cable.

6. |
Fit the right-hand lower blind rivet (A) for the electric window lift motor.
|
7. |
Plug in the connector (B) for the door and plug in the connector (A) for the rear harness.
