Symptom: Airbag warning lamp on.

B0012 Passenger frontal deployment circuit(stage 2) resistance low

B0013 Passenger frontal deployment circuit (stage 2) open

B0014 Passenger frontal deployment circuit (stage 2) voltage out of range


Fault symptom

Airbag warning lamp on.

Conditions

Ignition on

Fault criteria

B0012 The resistance measured by the control module falls below 1.5 ±0.2 Ω for 2 s

B0013 The resistance measured by the control module exceeds 4.5 ±0.2 Ω for 2 s

B0014 Voltage on pin 42 in the control module exceeds 4.1 V or falls below 1.0 V for 2 s.

System reaction to a fault

Even if there is a fault in the ignition circuit, the control module will try to trigger the airbag in the event of a collision.

The diagnostic tool can be used to read the amount of resistance in the ignition circuit.
