Interior rear-view mirror with automatic antidazzle function

To remove


1. Remove the ceiling light lens using 82 93 474 Removal tool . Start at the rear edge of the lens.


2. Remove the screw to the ceiling light bracket and remove the bracket.

3. Remove the temperature sensor from the holder.

Cars with alarm: Unplug the glass breakage sensor connector.

4. Undo the rear-view mirror connector from the holder. Unplug the rear-view mirror connector.


5. Take out the screws and remove the mirror.


To fit


1. Position the rear-view mirror and fit the screws. Plug in and fit the mirror's connector.


2. Fit the temperature sensor to the holder.

Cars with alarm: Plug in the glass breakage sensor connector.


3. Press home the ceiling light bracket so that the clips fasten.


4. Fit the screw and the ceiling light glass. Start fitting the rear edge of the glass and then press in the front edge of the glass.

5. Check the rear-view mirror antidazzle function, see Checking operation of rear-view mirror with antidazzle function . Eliminate any diagnostic trouble codes.
