Window lifts
Window lifts |
The switch unit is located in the centre console between the front seats, from which all the windows can be operated. There is also a main switch in the centre console with which the switches in the back doors can be blocked.
The switches for the front door windows are of three-step type with two opening positions and one closing position. The first opening position will open the window until the switch is released or the window reaches its stop position. The second opening position will open the window all the way to its stop position without having to keep the switch depressed.
The switches for the rear doors are of two-step type with one opening position and one closing position. To open or close the window, the lift is operated until the switch is released or the window reaches its stop position.
Voltage +54 circuit
The window lifts on the left-hand side and in the rear doors are supplied with current via switch 386 and fuse 6 from the +54 circuit. For the rear door window lifts to be supplied with current, the ON/OFF button on switch 386 must be in the ON position.Power is fed from fuse 36 to switch 386 which supplies power to the window lifts on the right-hand side.
