Engine coolant temperature sensor 1/Engine coolant temperature sensor 2

Engine coolant temperature sensor 1/Engine coolant temperature sensor 2

To remove


1. Remove the cover over the combustion chamber.


2. Undo the screw securing the metal strip and the two detectors.


3. Extract engine coolant temperature sensors 1 and 2.

4. Remove the cover over the combustion air fan.


Note

Pay attention to the fuel pipe's rubber lead-through.


5. Remove the four control module bolts.

6. Carefully extract the control module, unplug the connector and remove the control module from the heater.


7. Remove the centre housing.


8. Open connector B2 and extract the leads for engine coolant temperature sensor 1. Use tool 85 80 110.



To fit



1. Change engine coolant temperature sensors 1 and 2. Fit the leads in connector B2.

Note

Pay attention to the location of the pins when fitting them in the connector.


2. Fit the centre housing.


3. Plug connector B2 into the control module.


4. Fit the control module.


5. Fit the cover over the combustion air fan.

Note

Pay attention to the fuel pipe's rubber lead-through.


6. Fit engine coolant temperature sensors 1 and 2.


7. Fit the screw and metal strip holding the detectors in place.

8. Fit the cover over the combustion chamber.
