Drain the brake fluid reservoir using 88 19 096 Bleeding equipment.

Fill with the new brake fluid.

Tighten the nipple, fit the rubber plug and move the brake bleeder to the nipple on the brake caliper for the right-hand rear wheel and open the nipple. Drain off about 50 ml of brake fluid.
Fill with fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. |

Tighten the nipple, fit the rubber plug and move the brake bleeder to the nipple on the brake caliper for the right-hand front wheel and open the nipple. Drain off about 100 ml of brake fluid.
Fill with fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. |

Tighten the nipple, fit the rubber plug and move the brake bleeder to the nipple on the brake caliper for the left-hand rear wheel and open the nipple. Drain off about 50 ml of brake fluid.
Fill with fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. |
7. |
Tighten the nipple, fit the rubber plug and lower the vehicle.

Manual transmission:
Connect the brake bleeder to the clutch bleed nipple and open the nipple. Drain off about 50 ml of brake fluid.
Fill with fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. |
9. |
Tighten the nipple and remove the brake bleeder.

10. |
Check the brake function. Depress the brake pedal and check that it does not sink.
Manual transmission: Check the clutch operation. |
11. |
Inspect and adjust the brake fluid level.
