Coolant, freezing point and level

The cooling system is under pressure. Hot coolant and steam can escape.

- Open the cap slowly to release the pressure.
|
- Carelessness can cause eye and burn injuries
|

Switch the engine off and let the engine cool down.
|

|
Remove the expansion tank cap.
|
3.
|
Use 32 025 077 Fluid tester and check the coolant's freezing point. Adjust if necessary, use 40 - 93 170 402 Coolant. (The coolant is mixed with water, equal parts of each.)

4.
|
Check coolant level and correct the coolant to "COLD" mark if necessary (black arrows).
|
5.
|
Fit the expansion tank cap.

|

Use 32 025 077 Fluid tester and check the coolant's freezing point. Adjust if necessary, use 40 - 93 170 402 Coolant. (The coolant is mixed with water, equal parts of each.)

4.
|
Check coolant level and correct if necessary. Correct level for cold, vented system (filling level) is the mark for "cold" (1).

5.
|
Fit the expansion tank cap.
