Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent engine rotation when loosening the camshaft position actuator bolt (1).

Remove the exhaust camshaft position actuator bolt bank 1 (1).

Remove the exhaust camshaft position actuator bank 1 (2).
