Camshaft Position Actuator Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

/ 9-5 (9650) / 2010 / 2. Engine / Basic engine, V6 / Adjustment/replacement / Camshaft Position Actuator Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

Removal Procedure

1.	Remove the right exhaust camshaft actuator. Refer to Camshaft Position Actuator Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust .

2.	Remove the intake camshaft position actuator fastener (1).

3.	Remove the right intake camshaft position actuator (2).

Installation Procedure

1.	Locate the intake camshaft position actuator to the camshaft and loosely install the fastener.

2.	Refer to Torque Reaction Against Timing Drive Chain Caution . Note Use an open-end wrench at the camshaft hex to prevent camshaft/crankshaft rotation. Tighten the camshaft position actuator fastener. Refer to Camshaft Position Actuator Installation - Right Side Intake .

3.	Install the right exhaust camshaft actuator (2). Refer to Camshaft Position Actuator Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust .
