| 1. | Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant to the oil pan as shown. Refer to
        
         Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
        
        for the recommended sealant.   | |
| 2. | Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant to the NEW crankshaft rear oil seal housing as shown (1). Refer to
        
         Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
        
        for the recommended sealant.   | |
| 3. | Install the
        
         EN 47839
        
        installer with the
        
         EN 42183
        
        handle (1, 2) onto the rear of the crankshaft flange.   | |
| 4. | Install the 2 bolts (3). | |
| 5. | 
 Install the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (2) to the engine block.   | |||||||
| 6. | Install the 5 crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts (2). | |
| 7. | Refer to
        
         Fastener Caution
        
        . Tighten the 5 crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts in sequence as shown to 10 Nm (89 lb in) .   | |
| 8. | Tighten the 2 oil sump bolts to
        
         10 Nm (89 lb in)
        
        . | |
| 9. | Remove the 2 bolts (3).   | |
| 10. | Remove the
        
         EN 47839
        
        installer and
        
         EN 42183
        
        handle (1, 2) from the crankshaft flange. | |
