EN 46109 Guide Pin SetFor equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
| 1. | Install the 8 mm (0.315 in) guides from the
        
         EN 46109
        
        guide pin into the center oil pan rail bolt hole on each side of the engine block.   | |
| 2. | Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead (1) of RTV sealant, on the block pan rail and the crankshaft rear oil seal housing. Refer to
        
         Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
        
        for the recommended sealant.   | |
| 3. | Position the oil pan onto the block.   | |
| 4. | Remove the
        
         EN 46109
        
        guide pin 8 mm (0.315 in) guides from the engine block.   | |
| 5. | Loosely install the 11 oil pan bolts at cylinder block.   | |
| 6. | Loosely install the 2 oil pan bolts at crankshaft rear oil seal housing. | |
| 7. | Refer to
        
         Fastener Caution
        
        . Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence as shown:   | |
| 7.1. | Tighten the 8 mm (0.315 in) bolts (1-11) to
        
         23 Nm (17 lb ft)
        
        a first pass in sequence. | 
| 7.2. | Tighten the 8 mm (0.315 in) bolts (1-11) to
        
         23 Nm (17 lb ft)
        
        a second pass in sequence. | 
| 7.3. | Tighten the 6 mm screws (0.236 in) (12, 13) to
        
         10 Nm (97 lb in)
