|
Support the rear muffler with a hydraulic jack.
|
|
3.
|
Measure the cut line distance "a" =80 mm between muffler and connection of the exhaust muffler (1).
|
|
4.
|
Separate the rear muffler at the determined cut line (2) with a suitable tool.
|
|
5.
|
Remove the rear fasteners (x2) and lower the hydraulic jack.
|
|

|
Clean the cut surfaces.
|
|
2.
|
Transfer the bracket to the muffler
|
|
3.
|
Install the rear muffler and clamps to the exhaust pipe. Use mounting paste.
|
|
4.
|
Install the rear muffler bracket and tighten to
20 Nm (15 lb ft)
|
|
5.
|
|
Note
|
|
Align parts of the exhaust system.
|
Fasten the rear exhaust muffler (1) to the exhaust pipe (3) with the clamp (2). Tighten to
20 Nm (15 lb ft)
|
|
6.
|
Remove the hydraulic jack.
|
