Brake Caliper
Warning
Suspend the brake caliper with a strong steel wire or similar. This applies every time the caliper is removed from its mounting with the brake hose is still attached. Failure to support the caliper in this manner will cause the flexible brake hose to bear the weight of the caliper, which may cause damage to the brake hose and in turn may cause a brake fluid leak.

Procedures
Rotate the brake caliper upward and secure with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent.

Rear Disc Brake Pads
Procedures
1.
Use one or two wheel lugs nuts to hold the brake rotor in place while servicing the brake pads.
2.
If removing the brake pads to service the brake system, mark the inner and outer pads for the proper installation.
3.
Use needle nose pliars in order to twist the brake caliper piston into the brake caliper bore.
4.
If installing new brake pads, discard the spring clips. Install NEW spring clips.
5.
With the engine OFF, gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance.
6.

Slowly release the brake pedal.
7.
Wait 15 seconds, then repeat steps 5-6 until a firm brake pedal is obtained. This will properly seat the brake caliper pistons and brake pads.
