EN-49212 Camshaft Fixer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (LDK, LHU) .

Removal Procedure


1. Remove the camshaft cover. Refer to Camshaft Cover Removal (LDK, LHU) .

2. Rotate the crankshaft balancer mark (1) to the oil pump housing mark (2).


3. Install the EN-49212-1 camshaft fixer (1) and EN-49212-2 camshaft fixer (2) and fix the camshaft.


4. Count the number of the end to end connectors between the marks on EN-49212-1 camshaft fixer (2) and EN-49212-2 (1). The timing chain must have 29 end to end connectors to guarantee a correct adjustment.



Installation Procedure


1. Remove the EN-49212-1 camshaft fixer and EN-49212-2 camshaft fixer .

2. Install the camshaft cover. Refer to Camshaft Cover Removal (LDK, LHU) .
