EN-46789 Camshaft Locking Tool

EN 49437 Flywheel Holder


For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .



1. Set cylinder one to TDC:


1.1. Remove camshaft housing closure bolt.

1.2. Install EN-46789 locking tool (1) in the camshaft housing.

1.3. Turn engine clockwise until EN-46789 locking tool audibly engages.

2. Install the EN 49437 holder (1) in the flywheel (2) to lock the cranckshaft.

Note

Do not damage the timing belt. A damaged timing belt can not be reused.


Note

Direction of timing belt rotation.


Loosen the timing belt tensioner nut (2) and tense the timing belt tensioner to release the tension from the timing belt.


4. Remove the timing belt (1).
